A Américo Vieira & Rosa, Lda., a family company, which owns the Américo Vieira® brand products was established in the last century to continue the ancient tradition of stuffed pork.
The initial project came from one of the founders, by expanding production of handmade sausages that their grandparents had started, and remained confined to the village where they lived.
Values such as family, tradition, knowledge, have always been very privileged in our origins, so it is only natural that they are mirrored in our products, at our company. Operating in a family business perspective since the fifth generationand in a quest for full client satisfaction.
Safeguarding and maintaining the history of our products has always been one of our major concerns, to offer consumers a complete product, the end result of centuries of experience and knowledge.
The entire Américo Vieira® project also remains very pronounced: preserve all the original flavor, using the same techniques and ancestral knowledge possible to produce the most genuine traditional Portuguese products.
Naturally, we do not dispense with the use of the latest technology, which allows us to ensure all food safety and quality, expand markets, and increasingly reaching our target audience: the true connoisseur (gourmet) of traditional genuine products.
